Christina started her tenure in the Bay by producing major event festivals such as EDEN, fiveTEN, BLISS, the National Poetry Slam and Oakland Pride festivals. Christina owns or co-own several successful Bay Area businesses, including Craft & Spoon Restaurant, Town Biz Retail Shop, 1st Impressions Hair Salon, The People's Delivery Dispensary all in Oakland, and across the Bay in San Francisco Queen of Hearts Art Gallery and Benefit Health Collective Dispensary, in addition to two event production companies. She is a well-known advocate for the chronically ill, people of color, women, and the LGBTQ community. Christine’s entry point into the cannabis industry was by way of a near death experience. Diagnosed with Lupus in 2009, she spent three years taking 11 synthetic pills daily plus a monthly chemo-like infusion at the hospital, while barely being able to walk. Her introduction to cannabis-based CBD in 2015 changed her life and was the catalyst that inspired her to open Benefit Health Collective and subsequently The People's Dispensary with her co-founders.
